MAKING OF

Recorded in the scorching heat of Lievestuore, Finland, during a single summer weekend, Wandering Madness EP is the first Nykteria release. Due to the quick schedule, drums and some rhythm guitar tracks were recorded simultaneously. This saved lots of time, however, mistakes were costly, since Samuli and Mikko would have to keep restarting the songs in case of a drum stick dropping, or tempo’s running away from the monitors.

After battling for a day and a half, the rhythms were finally ready and now it was smooth sailing. Bass, leads, and vocals were falling into place naturally without any resistance. Before we noticed, the songs had been tracked and everything was ready.

We still have some physical CD’s in stock. In addition, the release is distributed also by Red Truth Productions.
