The Band

In 2017, Nykteria was formed by the trio Rasi, Kansanen, and Paappanen. Very quickly the trio shaped their own unique take on death metal music.

With Ikonen joining the vocal duties, Nykteria is finally to leave its mark on the death metal scene.

THE SOUND

Guttural vocals cut through the mix like a blade through bone. Crushing riffs honor the genre’s founding fathers while carving their own path forward. Breakbeat percussion breaks the mold of traditional death metal, injecting volatile energy into already punishing tempos, complemented by an array of furious blast beats. The low-end that demolishes: Earthquake frequencies designed to rattle your chest, with bass tones consuming all space.
