About the album

HENOSIS, the debut full-length album of Nykteria, is here. A Death Metal album result of genuine collaboration: riffs were presented organically in a rehearsal space, rhythm sections developed through live jamming, and arrangements got dissected and rebuilt by all members until they worked. The process was slow and chaotic, but the results sounds like the band playing together.

The band teamed up with Jami Honkala from Univaltakunta Studio, and managed to capture sound for a distinctive piece of metal music, not too polished yet still audible, striking the balance between raw fury and professional clarity.
